The talk will consider how, and to what extent, third party funding of arbitration is affecting domestic and international construction disputes in Hong Kong. Our panel will explore some of the unique features of construction disputes (in contrast to many other commercial disputes) and consider whether these present opportunities or obstacles for third party funding to take off. We will also hear from representatives from two funders, and what they are looking for when deciding whether to put their money behind your construction claims.
