Every year, the Society of Construction Law Hong Kong offers a scholarship to encourage candidates of the highest calibre, who are not, and have not at any time been, qualified for practice as a legal practitioner (of whatever description) in any jurisdiction (including Hong Kong) and who are permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to pursue a practice in construction law. To qualify for the scholarship the candidate must undertake, or have undertaken, a pupillage with a practicing barrister whose practice is significantly in the area of construction law.
